Salesforce Pledges $500M Investment For AI Innovation in Saudi Arabia

Adhering to their promise to innovate and invest in the region, Salesforce officially announced their plans to invest $500M in Saudi Arabia to accelerate AI innovation and adaptation.

The investment aims to support enterprises as they develop their digital workforces with Agentforce and Hyperforce in the country.

Empowering Saudi Organizations

Salesforce has openly outlined their ambition to drive growth in Saudi Arabia, announcing the launch of a new regional headquarters in Riyadh in January, with a commitment to upskill 30,000 Saudi citizens by 2030.

Building on this initiative, the company is now expanding its efforts to accelerate workforce development through AI skilling.

Marc Benioff, Salesforce CEO, said: “We’re excited to expand our presence in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region and help drive innovation, enhance productivity, and support key digital transformation initiatives with our Agentforce digital labor platform.”

To support this mission, Salesforce is partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to facilitate the seamless introduction of Hyperforce in Saudi Arabia, helping local businesses and professionals adapt to the new platform. The company are also strengthening relationships with Capgemini, Deloitte, Globant, IBM, and PwC to further extend the capabilities of this technology in Saudi Arabia.

This expansion will also allow local businesses and talent to leverage Salesforce’s most innovative products while remaining compliant with local regulations. Ensuring compliance is crucial for businesses operating in Saudi Arabia, as it enables them to meet data sovereignty requirements, adhere to government policies, and build trust with customers.

There is also a keen focus on increasing the female workforce. As part of Salesforce’s pledge, the company is looking to work with Princess Nourah University (PNU) to bring AI-focused learning to female students. This initiative aims to encourage female students to excel in the digital economy – supporting their vision for inclusive growth by 2030.

Dr. Ala Alluhadian, Dean of Development at PNU, said: “We are thrilled with our cooperation with Salesforce. This investment not only underscores their confidence in our vision and capabilities but also paves the way for groundbreaking advancements in education.”

Final Thoughts

Salesforce’s huge investment in Saudi Arabia spells a strong future for the region as they look to accelerate their vision for both Hyperforce and Agentforce.
